Robert D “Bob” Johnson – Chapter President 

Bob has certifications as a CPA, CFE, CFF and CVA.  He is president of Robert D. Johnson, CPA, P.C. and had been in public accounting since 1976.  Bob has participated in civil and criminal litigation cases, has testified in both District and Federal Courts as an Expert in Taxation, Accounting, Business Valuation and Fraud matters.  His practice is limited to litigation support, fraud examinations, and representation before Federal and State Taxing authorities.  Bob serves on the Board of Directors or as an advisor to a number of community non-profit organizations throughout Colorado Springs.  In addition, he serves on the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants Professional Conduct Board and on the “CFE of the Year” selection committee of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  Bob can be reached at (719) 590-9555 or bob@rdjcpa.com
James Hansen – Chapter Vice President 

James is a CFE, CPA and CISA.  He has 15+ years of Auditing experience, holding positions ranging from Internal Auditor to Director of Operational Auditing.  Throughout his audit career James has performed or managed internal fraud investigations, primarily in the Insurance industry.  In addition to coordinating investigations with internal departments, James has also worked with local law enforcement to prepare prosecution files.  Currently, James is the Vice President of Risk Management at Compassion International.

Jeff Litchfield – Colorado Springs ACFE Chapter Founder

Jeff has spent the last 30 years working for municipal and county governments, serving in variety of positions.  During his time as City Auditor for the City of Colorado Springs Jeff organized the Colorado Springs ACFE Chapter.  Jeff, is currently serving as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Tacoma, Washington.  We are deeply appreciative of Jeff's efforts to start our local ACFE Chapter.
Nancy K. Wheeler, CIA, CFE, CPA (Illinois) - At Large - Membership

Nancy is an internal auditor with the Colorado Springs City Auditor’s Office. She has been with the City Auditor's Office since 2005. She has been a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois since 1992 and holds a CIA and CFE certification. Before moving to Colorado Springs from Illinois, Nancy was in corporate accounting for over 15 years. She was Director of Finance for 5 years and a Director of Accounting for 3 years. She earned a BA in Accounting and Finance from Lewis University. Nancy currently is enrolled at Colorado Technical University in the Masters program.

Pat Nashleanas – Treasurer 

Pat is co-owner of Monarch Digital, a website development company as well as a Professor of Accounting at CTU and Pikes Peak Community College.     She was a co-founder/President of Eden Systems Corporation and held various finance and IT positions including internal auditing at Eli Lilly and Company.  Pat is working on obtaining her CPA and CFE certifications.
Linda Dix - Secretary 

Linda Dix graduated from Sam Houston State University in Texas with a Bachelors of Science before becoming a police officer in Baltimore in 1979. Wanting to move to Colorado, she became a police officer for the Colorado Springs Police Department in August 1980.  She worked in the Patrol Division until being promoted to Master Patrolman and then Detective.  In 1995 she joined the District Attorney’s Office as an investigator in the Economic Crime Division.  In 2001 she became a Senior Investigator and was promoted to Deputy Chief Investigator in 2006. Linda currently supervises the investigators assigned to Economic Crime, County Court, and the Special Victims Unit as well as supervising the evidence room technician and Process Servers.

Danny Lake - At Large - Training Director

Danny is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI). Currently, Danny is a Criminal Investigator, for the State of Colorado (CDOC), Office of the Inspector General. He has worked in the criminal justice field for approximately 22 yrs.  In addition, to conducting investigations, Danny teaches adjunct in the areas of Business Management, Human Resources and Criminal Justice.  Danny has a BS in Sociology/Criminology, a MS in Management/HR, and a MS Criminal Justice completion date (12/2010).

Detective Michael Flynn - At Large - Advisory

Detective Flynn is a 15-year veteran of the Colorado Springs Police Department.  He is currently assigned to the Financial Crimes Unit. Mike’s assignments with the police department include three years as a criminal investigator assigned to the 4th Judicial District, District Attorney’s Office and Economic Crime Division. He is an Air Force retiree and graduate of the Univ. of Colorado.
